Madelane Morales is a Caribbean artist based in New York. In college she became proficient in various mediums from 2D to 3D—but her passions lie in sculpture. Her sculpting journey began in 2015, after receiving a grant to work at the Modern Art Foundry INC. Where she designed, sculpted, and ultimately brought to life her first bronze sculpture. which represents her thought processes, struggles with, and societal views on mental illness. Shortly after she began working under Carole A. Feuerman, where she cultivated her skills and sharpened her creative instinct.

She now has over 1 years of experience bringing her vivid imagination to life in the form of surreal sculptures and paintings. In her pieces, she calls upon her inspirations—the macabre, surrealism, spiritualism, the muses, and topics of mental illness. She hopes to provide representation for women, Caribbean culture, and mental illness struggles in society.
